Actions/Suggestions:

  • FIM4R Community to write a 1 page position paper on what we would like from activities such as EOSC AAI (The AAI task force of the EOSC Architecture WG). Should stress recommendations already in the V2 paper, such as “we do not think a single AAI solution would be sufficient”.

  • GN4 Project to sponsor webinars based on AARC outputs to help research communities adopt FIM. GN4 to make an open invitation to FIM4R to participate in the scoping and development of material.

  • Should consider how best to make FIM4R broader and more sustainable.

  • Research communities expose which IdPs are needed and let federations use it as leverage for baseline adoption

    • More specifically, each community produce a list of its members and their affiliations, perhaps as email addresses, to help CIOs/Campuses realize that they are supporting research perhaps without realizing it

  • Checklists as a tool for people to understand whether they are supporting FIM4R

  • FIM4R.org content

    • Produce FIM4R.org page detailing which members are representing FIM4R in which bodies

    • Articles/use cases on FIM4R.org describing how certain Research Communities have used e.g. EOSC AAIs, SaToSa, INDIGO IAM etc

    • Guidance for SPs to get started, point them to content
