Description
Awarding 6.16 billion euro over the period 2014-2020, the Marie Curie Actions support research training and career development focused on innovation skills.
There are MSCA grants for all stages of a researcher's career, from PhD candidates to highly experienced researchers, which encourage transnational, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility.
As the number of proposals submitted exceed by far the available budget, the EU retains only the best projects (less than 12% in the past).

To be successful in winning funding, it is necessary to understand early in the process what makes a good proposal, and to prepare the ground actively and well in advance, and that is what you will learn and apply in this course.

While there are several types of MSCA funding, CERN will mainly submit proposals for Initial Training Networks, and the course will focus on such proposals.
