I will present a simple solution generating technique for SU(3) structure Type IIB backgrounds with sources. After reviewing the Klebanov-Strassler and Maldacena-Nuñez setups and their field theory duals, I will discuss how this solution generating technique can be used to reproduce the Butti et al. solution describing the baryonic branch of the Klebanov-Strassler theory. I will then apply the same technique to a flavoured version of the Maldacena-Nuñez solution to obtain new Type IIB solutions with sources, that will be argued to be related to the mesonic branch of the Klebanov-Strassler theory.
