The new development of the laser technology "Thin Film Compression"[1] (TFC) in combination with the known "Relativistic Compression" opens the door for relativistic ultrashort X-ray lasers. This in turn enables wakefield acceleration in solid state channels such as carbon nano tubes (CNT)[2]. Because of the X-ray intensity, the high electron density, and the geometry, this allows us to consider TeV wakefield acceleration over a solid-state nanostructure. The accelerated beam and the emittance should be also ultracompact consistent with the nanostructure. I consider this for a future high energy accelerator.
