Title: The H0 tension

Abstract: In 2019, cosmology witnessed a remarkable milestone. The difference between early-time and late-time probes measuring the expansion rate of the universe, i.e. the Hubble constant, reached an unexplained amplitude of more than 5 σ. This is currently one of the largest discrepancies in cosmology, and if confirmed it would call for a crisis of the LCDM model. However, systematics in the measurements might still be the culprit of such a difference. In this talk, I will review the current tension between measurements from different probes. I will discuss some of the proposed solutions and prospects for the future.
