      • Singularity: Unprivileged mode

        Recent experience suggests updates to singularity expose unintended consequence to other VO's.
      Solution appears to be the move to  Unprivileged / user namespaces, after which each (major) VO can use it's own singularity version from cvmfs (GGUS#146651);
      This likely (?) requires update to Docker; requiring development, testing and deployment. Would be useful to get a timescale / plan. (Am also happy to contribute where possible).

      Not a bad week for operations.

      I have been trying to use settings other than 'Lazy-Download' on the mini-batch farm, but there are some problems rolling out to the 30 nodes using Aquilon. Jose is investigating.
