Description

Abstract: I'll discuss a set of criteria for parton showers to be NLL accurate simultaneously for large classes of collider observables. These stem from
the properties of the QCD squared amplitudes for multiple emissions, and from the structure of known resummations. Such criteria are then used to uncover issues with existing dipole shower algorithms, as well as to design new algorithms that satisfy the novel NLL-accuracy requirements.
