  The Large Hadron Collider Schottky monitors have been designed to measure various parameters of relevance to beam quality, namely tune, momentum spread and chromaticity. This presentation will explain the theoretical foundations of Schottky Noise Diagnostics, as well as report recent developments which have resulted in new applications and filled some gaps in the theoretical model.
