Xrootd 5 is out on Tuesday. The most important thing is TLS. It is testing in several ways, including in xrootd TPC. Another change is the way to handle VOMS based authentication in xroot and http - they will now use the same plugin.

Working with RAL on HTTP TPC. Major issue is that RAL uses grid-mapfile, not VOMS. The existing code in Xrootd release 4 can handle grid-mapfile for xrootd protocol, but is not correctly handling grid-mapfile in HTTP protocol. Provided a patch (to xrdhttpvoms) for RAL to test (under xrootd 4). Will check whether Xrootd release 5 can handle this issue.
