This tutorial will introduce the participants to CLIC's ILCSoft, the software framework currently used for muon collider studies, and will provide them with the tools necessary to simulate, reconstruct and analyze their favorite processes.
ILCSoft includes a complete detector model and the corresponding full-simulation and reconstruction software.
After a short overview of the package, a hands-on session will follow, in which a typical workflow for the channel mumu --> H v vbar --> b bbar v vbar will be run and analyzed.
Finally, a look will be given at the background induced by the beam muon decays and the unprecedented challenges that it poses to every aspect of a muon-collider experiment: from the detector design, to the reconstruction algorithms, to the the required computing resources.
