Description
Abstract:
In this talk I will discuss the possibility of unveiling new physics with neutrino and dark matter experiments, highlighting a strong complementarity among different facilities. I will focus on three different examples.
First I will discuss how the recent observation of coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering (CEvNS) can probe neutrino generalised interactions. Then, I will investigate opportunities for detecting light dark matter at DUNE, a next generation long baseline neutrino experiment. Finally, I will shortly comment on a possible interpretation of the recent XENON1T excess, and discuss how such experiment is now becoming sensitive to new physics in the neutrino sector.
