The purpose of this presentation is to explain the aim, methodology and results of three projects in which different materials have been or will be tested before and after being irradiated with gamma radiation Co-60. In the first one, the Radiation Resistance Program, several resins and laminates of interest for superconducting magnets were irradiated; for the second one, four polymers are tested as candidates to the manufacturing of covers for the protection of active parts in normal conducting magnets; lastly, three types of samples were prepared to asses the insulation of the MCBC/Y magnets. Depending on the project, the characterization included mechanical, electrical or chemical testing, as well as visual inspection.
