This talk will focus on the CERN Notifications Project. The CERN Notification System aims at enabling tailored proactive work-related notifications to the user. Benefits and drawback of the system and ideas on how to fulfil the needs of CERN Users together with the clarity and usefulness of the "Information Usage Preferences" survey will be discussed.
