Discussion on EMI session at EGI Technical Forum (15 Jun 2010) Following our discussion on this session, we decided to propose that EMI take a 90 min slot, either Tuesday from 16:00 to 17:30, or Thursday (time tbd). The content of this slot would be as follows (times approximate) - Intro to EMI - 10 min (Alberto) - EMI collaboration programs - 20 min (Diana) this would focus primarily on the two categories of User Communities and Works-with-EMI - Presentation by a stable user community (e.g. HEP) - 15 min - Presentation by an emerging community (Life Sci or Earth Sci) - 15 min - Discussion - 30 min For more in depth technical discussions, there are several other sessions we should attend. We will also be present at the various ESFRI-related sessions. Finally, EMI will have a booth. Please let me know if this is ok with you or if there is something I forgot. If I don't hear comments by 17:00 today, I will send this proposal to the EGI TF list.
