On the HRS, neutron-rich argon beams were delivered to CRIS for laser spectroscopic investigations of nuclear structure in the region around N = 28. Up until Sunday, the run was progressing well, with new data successfully collected for several isotopes, and prospects were promising to achieve the physics goals by the planned end of the run on Thursday. However, due to issues with the proton beam on Sunday, followed by problems during the GPS target change on Monday, the experiment had to be prematurely stopped. As a result, several isotopes, particularly the most exotic ones, are left with insufficient statistics.
