This course provides the basics elements of design of superconducting accelerator magnets, from the beam dynamics requirements to the analytical expressions that allow to select a conceptual design.

In other words, these classes aim at bridging the gap in magnet design between the proton requirements to the last analytical steps before using a finite element models such as ROXIE and ANSYS, or multi physics codes as COMSOL.
