IMPRESS: International Modern Physics & Research in Education Seminar Series

Organisers
Magdalena Kersting (Department of Science Education, University of Copenhagen, Denmark)
Julia Woithe (Science Gateway Education, CERN, Switzerland)

What is IMPRESS?
From the big bang to black holes, from elementary particles and the fundamental interactions that govern our universe to the world's largest and most complex scientific instruments, our knowledge of the world builds on modern physics. To make our current-best understanding available to all, we need to invest in educational research and bridge the gap between those who know science, those who teach science, and those who learn science. IMPRESS will do just that!

Through a monthly seminar series, IMPRESS gives momentum to modern physics education and increases the visibility of physics education research (PER). The format, consisting of brief research talks based on recently published papers and informal discussions, acquaints us with the latest research and fosters connections in our modern physics education community. In short, we'll get smarter and make new friends!

Did you miss a seminar? No problem, we will attach the recordings of every seminar to the respective event below.
