Detector production:
- The 50x50 MicroMegas gas connectors were fixed and they were picked up from the MPT workshop by Michele
- One of the 20x20 µRWELLs that needed cleaning has been fixed as well
News on the May test beam at SPS:
- Test beam dates: Wed May 6th - 20th
- Goal: testing the 50x50 cm2 chambers using the GEM tracker (used in the October PS TB) as a reference
- We asked the Bari mechanical engineer to provide a basic structure
- Availabilities and interest for the May test beam?
- Luca has a support structure for two 50x50 and a TGC that might be tested as well
- We can use it to test the triggered mode in high rate
News on the July test beam at PS:
- Test beam dates: Wed July 22nd - Aug 5th
- We discussed with the Bari engineer about the change in the mechanics
- Bars designed that attach to the 20x20 and hold the VMMs in place
- This needs to be added for the 50x50 as well
- Better position for HV connectors for both 20x20 and 50x50
- Better ventilation for tracker and 20x20
- Position for the 50x50 ventilation to be checked better
- Discussions with ECAL team (Crilin):
- To read out the calorimeter using separated DAQ, we will do a test in Rome in March using the two setup backends
- Possibility to use the VMM to read out the ECAL SiPMs
