General news:

• DRDs are in the renewal  process:
  • DRD1-WP5:
    • Imad sent yesterday an email about a list of public contributions (papers/talks) from our side to assess the work done so far. I(Luigi) will take care of the list.
    • Most probably next week Imad will call a meeting to discuss our activities. Not yet clear the day and time slot
  • DRDCalo: 
    • The renewal process quite in advance state; already discussed about deliverables achieved in the last 3 years and plans for the next 3 years:
      • documents at link 
      • Deliverables 2024-2026
        
      • Deliverables 2027-2029
        
• paper:
  • 4 years of testbeam; we must converge on a paper profiting of the no-beam period
  • drafted a possible paper schema with possible plots we could include:
    • overleaf
    • slides
• MPGD-HCAL prototype:
  • several issues observed in the past testbeam (not proper reconstruction with triggered mode, chamber instabilities)
  • proper commissioning of the prototype must be pursued; trying to understand if we can find a dedicated area at cern
