In addition to the standard Mentoring@CERN programme, we are launching a pilot series of informal support sessions for participants who may benefit from an additional space for reflection, exchange, and mutual support.

These sessions are designed as a complementary initiative and are not intended to replace the mentoring relationship. Instead, they offer a more flexible and informal setting where participants can come as little or as often as they wish, depending on their needs.

The Support Group aims to provide a safe and confidential space where participants can share experiences, reflect on challenges, and receive support from others in a respectful and open environment. The format of the pilot may evolve over time depending on the needs that arise.

The sessions will primarily be shaped by the questions, situations, and topics brought by participants. If no specific issues are raised, the discussion may also be guided by broader themes relevant to mentoring, personal development, or professional challenges.

Mentors who would like to contribute to the facilitation process are also very welcome to join. Their role would be to share personal experiences, ideas, or reflections that may be helpful to others.

This pilot is open to:
- current mentees in the Mentoring@CERN programme,
- applicants who were not selected for the programme,
- mentors who would like to participate in or contribute to the group.

We hope this initiative will create an additional space for connection, support, and shared learning within the Mentoring@CERN community.
