Preparations for start of our beam time. Before June 5th we need:
- Modification of vacuum
- CEDAR-W
- Delay Wire Chambers (to be borrowed from Laza)
- Magnets ready
- Electrical connection to new racks installed in our area
- We need a table with possibility to move along axes perpendicular to the beam axis
Other things
There is a new rack installed in the corridor. We would like to install any kind of protection.
There was a power cut in our barracks on April 30th. In the morning there were people working in the ground floor and the lights were turned off. In the afternoon we noticed that all our equipment in the barracks is powered off. The power distribution racks on the ground floor were off. We called Technical Control Room. The expert arrived and diagnosed that one of AULs was pushed. He restarted the power distribution boxes and racks. Everything went to normal.
The IP phones DID NOT turn off.We had a meeting today with TE-CRG, EP-DT, Sylvain and others and discussing details of the location of elements for liquid hydrogen target infrastructure, connections, pipes, etc.
ECR for the LH infrastructure is basically ready for resubmission. Preliminarly checked by James. Will have a meeting with Giulia regarding the formal aspects.
