As a follow-up of the Chamonix Performance Workshop the R2E Study Group will organize a workshop to review the LHC mitigation options for electronic damage. The final date is still to be agreed upon, but it will be within April/May. This workshop aims in filling the information gaps and thus propose optimized mid/long-term mitigation options. It will be organized through various presentations, where your input, support and help is of utmost importance and which will allow all of us to discuss in detail the respective aspects. In order to streamline the presentations the R2E team has collected a 'list of open questions' which will be presented to you through an 'Extended R2E Seminar' next week Tuesday afternoon (9.2., 14:00-16:00h, 864-1-D02). The seminar will focus on the open points and missing details required for the above mentioned workshop presentations. As your presence is thus required during the seminar, please confirm by the end of this week if you can attend or propose a replacement from your group/section.
