MoEDAL
The MoEDAL (the Monopole and Exotics Detector At the LHC) experiment, which
is designed to search for magnetic monopoles and other exotic highly
ionizing particles, became the LHC's seventh experiment in 2010. The MoEDAL
detector is radically different: a giant camera for “photographing” new
physics, complementing the existing LHC program.
