      WG3 Report 5 Discussion

      NMSSM Subgroup:

      Maggie: Two contributions:

      • Update of the code NMSSMCalc, which is then able to do scans in an intelligent way (using Markov Chains), will also include new dark matter constraints. Code is already working, just missing DM constraints.

      • Will use the above code to provide updated benchmarks for higgs pair production with different final states.

Alexandra Carvalho says that CMS can provide the list of final states they’re looking at.

They would also like to have benchmarks where the SM Higgs BRs do not change as much as possible, to help facilitate comparisons.

      • Will also contribute these benchmarks to the CPV benchmarks joint with WG2

Maggie says they will write everything for the code and submit it – will be a “Highlight” so it is due by June.

      MSSM Subgroup:

      Michael Spira:

A write-up of higher order effects in gluon fusion in the MSSM (4FS code is running, needs to be setup for 5FS). Also hope to update charged Higgs cross sections.

Will provide a guideline on how to combine this with other pieces. Will either fall in the extended scalar subgroup or the MSSM subgroup.

      b(b)H Subgroup:

Christian Bielle discussed the progress, see https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/19Ke03PWQkpEGgHQiY9633mYHqIjOZ9BdvPbEUZqwe_A/edit#slide=id.g33ced753587_1_20

Goal is to finish the most important items by June. Christian will get in contact with all b(b)H co-convenors and work on the document. Andrea (the new CMS convenor) will join the effort as well.
Michael and Christian discussed the 4FS+5FS matching. That seems to be not feasible at the June timescale but one can show the results for 4FS and 5FS and their uncertainties separately. The new results have much reduced uncert. (order of 10%) compared to YR4.

      General:

Discussion about the citations. Tania proposed to provide a list of papers to cite in Report 5 reports as a list in the corresponding sections. Need to make sure that the citations listed on the LHC Higgs WG TWIKIs are up-to-date and update them if not.
