-Barbara, Status of the PRSTAB paper + Solenoid
Discussions to reply to the referees have taken place. BPM resolution is about 60nm. Reference for the 1-to-1 corrector will be provided by Andrea.  Barbara leaves Solenoid details for Yngve's talk

-Yngve, Solenoid + Luminosity
Separate code by Barbara now inside PLACET. In CVS already
The solenoid is not an element, is a different tracking method.
Daniel wonders if the solenoid should be an element and then the
element should know about using the solenoid or not. Obstacle of the code
would be to do DFS and future updates. The effort to move to element
tracking should be evaluated. To be discussed in these days.

GuineaPig gives different luminosity versus number of slices. Investigations
so far point to a need of 50-60 slices. Peak goes down, total goes up versus number of slices.
Recommendation is to move to 50-60 slices for now on. +5% effect in the total luminosity.
-5% effect in the peak lumi. Not understood. Daniel: 70 slices for the future is recommended.
To do: Same check with E-Z correlated bunch from the linac. For tuning simulations this
might not be needed since this computation is slower, to be checked. Yngve found that decreasing
the step size would also work, to be checked.

-Hector, Tuning traditional of FFS
Finding the best value of w1 and w2 did not converge, Daniel suggests to use exactly the same
40 seeds (but this is the case indeed as Andrea mentioned). We should maybe reduce the number
of computed knobs and correlations from 10 to 6 as this is the maximum anyway we can do.
Tuning converges faster for this traditional system than for the nominal FFS using the knobs.
Daniel suggests than for 500GeV situation should be better. Maybe 500GeV should be given
more priority. Timescale for 500GeV could be 1 month.
Other topics: L*, parameter optimisation, ...

-David, MAPCLASS
Control version system implemented using Git. Different versions have been merged, like 5&6 d.
Truncated taylor library from Riccardo already implemented and to be develop. This would allow us
to get rid of PTC.

-Yves, ATF GM
The amplitude of the GM signal after reconstruction is a good signal to measure.
Residual cannot come from GM... unfortunatelly not much signal can be seen...
Prospects for improvements: BPM resolution, New BPMs. good improvement!
This is the way to go. Clearly BPM dominated.
Hermann should provide some BPMs with high resolution.
Scanning the number of eigen-values should be investigated.

 -Jochem, Plans.
Leaves in 2 days. Joins Royal Holloway.  Finish CLIC note with magnet tolerances. Learn MADX, MAPCLASS.
Continue maintaining PLACET, Guinea-Pig, BDSIM. Integrate static and dynamic imperfections studies.
Contribute to design BDS lattices.
Daniel suggests that specific question should be addressed by Jochem.

-Juergen, Plans.
More realistic static tuning procedure. Long term alignment and tuning.
Start with main linac and move to BDS afterwards.
Task 2 in collaboration with an indian student: be able to predict from BPMs correlations at the IP.

-Javier, CC + Traveling Focus + Waist shift
Analytical expressions have been derived.
Preferred solution is to flip the sign of the crossing angle.
Optimum waist shift at 1sigma_z, optimum traveling waist  0.5 (current value 1).
To be taken into account for future designs.
Javier also considers improving the Simplex algorithm.
