About BCVSPIN: BCVSPIN (Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, and Nepal) is one of the premier programs in high energy physics and cosmology in South/Southeast Asia, initiated in 1989 by Professors Abdus Salam, Jogesh Pati, Yu Lu, and Qaisar Shafi. The goal of the program is to provide a platform for future scientists in the South/Southeast Asia region with an opportunity to learn about exciting developments in high energy physics and cosmology from leading experts in the field. The first BCVSPIN was organized in 1989 in Kathmandu, Nepal, followed by 5 more in Nepal and subsequently in India (1992), China (2007, 2009, 2013), Vietnam (2011), and Mexico (2014).
