A precision test of averaging in AdS/CFT

I will discuss some recent progress in the study of wormholes in AdS/CFT, how they encode the level statistics of black hole microstates, the status of the factorization paradox, and a very recent precision test that can be embedded into IIB supergravity on AdS5 x S5.
