Description

The theory of open quantum systems aims to develop a general framework to analyse the dynamical behaviour of physical systems by removing the
environmental degrees of freedom. If the response of the environment is
Markovian, the dynamics can be described through the Lindblad Master
equation. In the first part of the talk, I will derive this equation with
a particular focus on the approximations. In the second part, I will
discuss the importance of integrability in the contexts of Open quantum
systems and some of the novel results discussed in PRL 126.24 (2021):
