Description
I would like us to meet to discuss about the BPM LHC and BPM interlock firmware:
1) Jean Jacques: (5-10 minutes, please).
- Could you please show the list of tests passed and failed
- List of tests still to be run to consider the firmware “qualified” for deployment, if any.
2) Discuss about the document sent to you by email, which defined the steps to validate the synchronous part of the current BPMLHC firmware. I would like to have answers to the following questions (if possible)
- Do you think this is the appropriate strategy (for the current firmware)?
- Agree about an user interface
- What would be more practical and feasible to implement: 2 applications? interlock and BPM LHC or something common for both?
- If someone believes there is something that it is not practical/cannot be done/would like to be different please mention it.
3) Regarding the future firmware:
- Andrea: If there are eventual foreseen changes, I think is worth to mentioned them, so that the application can be implemented in such a way that it could be extrapolated/upgraded to the future firmware easily.
4) Next steps (with deadlines if possible):
- If we agree on the test strategy, then I believe that the following steps will be to complete the document and to implement the “test facility”. If you are thinking in something else, please mention it.
