UCAP - A generic, self-service, controls data processing platform 

Abstract:

The Unified Controls Acquisition and Processing (UCAP) Framework provides, as the name suggests, a means to facilitate and streamline acquisition of Controls data for processing, before making the outputs available via the standard Controls Middleware. In this lecture, we will look into what UCAP proposes to solve "Acquisition -> Transformation -> Publishing" problems, let it be a standard converter, Java or Python user code. The presentation will cover the tools provided by UCAP and integration with other systems, such as CCS and NXCALS.
