L'avventura del CERN alla scoperta dell'Universo

 

On July 17th the event “One step away from the Big Bang: CERN's adventure to discover the Universe” will take place in Rome in the Petrassi room of the Auditorium Parco della Musica.  The event integrates the international calendar of celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the foundation of CERN.

Fabiola Gianotti and Antonio Zoccoli will be protagonists, telling the public the extraordinary story of successes in Physics and Technology, and the unique adventure of a community caracterized by a wide sprectrum of cultures, skills and ideas. The storytelling will be accompanied by readings, music, artistic performances and by video testimonies on the history of CERN and the Italian contribution to the successes that have crowned research in recent decades. The event will be moderated by the science journalist Silvia Bencivelli.
