Meeting time and date

We agreed the next meetings will be held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, swapping places with QoS which is anyway under review. So the next TPC meeting will be on the 3rd of March at 16:00 CET.

Experiments production

Only ATLAS has a public information of what it is doing. We need to put the information for CMS and LHCb at the same level to have a common understanding of what it means to 'enable' sites by the end of May. For example all 'enabled'  sites in ATLAS are active, i.e. they start the transfer using http, in CMS only two sites are active  all the others are passive. LHCb is not clear if they are enabling or only testing. We also need to start looking at the throughput  for each.

REST API

Paul gave an overview of the dcache REST API. The API is described in a google doc but we decided to create a new document and reference the dcache one rather than comment on the dcache one. Paul will create the new document.

The plan is for the relevant storage and client developers, and experiments experts to comment on the document and have smaller brainstorming meetings which will report to this meeting eventually. Oliver will make sure the appropriate CERN people are contacted.

Having a testbed from the start was also deemed important. We discussed if it should be the same as the SRM+http but SRM+http already makes use of production instances. Andrea says he imagines the initial setup of test end points will have a fake tape system not a really one. Paul agrees.

SRM+http testbed

We discuss which T1s can volunteer a TAPE endpoint with SRM+http enabled and dteam access and Lucia says INFN-T1 can do it, Dmitry says he'll check with Fermilab, Oliver says that at CERN http is not enabled yet but we can start by using an EOS end point with the understanding that the aim is to test CTA <-> SRM+http eventually.

JIRA project

Agreed to create a DOMA TPC project to track things for the various activities.
