      VO Liaison CMS 1m
Speaker: Katy Ellis (Science and Technology Facilities Council STFC (GB))

SAM tests have been green in the last week. Tom Birkett is still looking at the 'missing' tests (see the AREX ggus ticket).

Excluding the LogCollect jobs, job failure rate is similar to other sites. Efficiency is still poor, I estimate it's 50% average for the week.

With Chris Brew I am working on using ceph-gw9 as a 'firewall bypass' but this has not been as easy/quick as I had hoped! We have the xrootd service and certificates (renewal) working now, and ready to try some tests with jobs.

This new plot made with Tom Byrne shows regular and vector reads from the CMS-only WNs. It's interesting as it seems to show some nodes (older ones?) with a limit of around 8 normal reads per second. Perhaps newer nodes have a higher limit. https://vande.gridpp.rl.ac.uk/next/d/W3N9lulMk/wn-gateway-vector-read-investigation?orgId=1&from=1618230409349&to=1618305889158

Katy has CMS computing week between 1-6/7pm Tues-Fri this week.
