  • Tables for Li-like Pb (SPS), He-like Pb (LHC) , H-like Pb (LHC), Li-like Ca (SPS), He-like Ca (LHC), H-like Ca (LHC) showing the number of excited ions as a  function of the laser pulse duration and its power (mJ/b.c.) for the Q-M calculation and for the GF-CAIN (simplified boundary conditions: Gaussian timing  profile of laser pulses, head-on collisions).
     
  • An optimized, power-effective scenario of excitation of PSI in the PoP experiment (do we need a 5.0 mJ 40 MHz photon pulses, or can we work will less intense photon pulses?).
     
  • Extension of the “GF-CAIN” to “GF-POL-CAIN” including user interface in terms of the Stokes parameters.
     
  • Intra-beam scattering and stripping processes implemented in the Python-based MC simulation toolkit.
     
  • Realistic re-evaluation of the HL-LHC option with laser cooled Ca beams by including collective IBS (both at the LHC injection energy and over the ramp time).
