Talk title: Chern-Simons-matter at large baryon number

Abstract: I will use the effective field theory approach to analyse the SU(2)k Chern-Simons theory coupled to fundamental scalar at large chemical potential for baryon number, based on 1904.09815.
I will briefly review the idea of the effective field theory at large chemical potential, and then study the theory in question.
We will see that the ground state at large baryon number is homogeneous but anisotropic on the torus spatial slice.
I will also compare the result with that of O(4) Wilson-Fisher theory at large charge, which is related to the large-k limit of the theory above.
Finally, time permitting, I will briefly comment on the recent result 2102.05046 by Cuomo et. al., which studied U(1){-k} Chern-Simons theory coupled to a Dirac fermion at large monopole number, whose dual is different but very slightly related to the theory that I studied.
