The goal of the HIE-ISOLDE physics coordination group is to facilitate the communication between the physics user community and the technical staff. Input from the physicists is needed on the beam specifications, on the layout of the experiments, on future extensions and all this should be also in line with the other users of ISOLDE. This kind of input is needed urgently and therefore one should install as soon as possible such committee.
