LHC physics day dedicated to exploring how studies of the QCD final state can be exploited to improve searches for new physics. Topics include studies of jet substructure and jet shapes, the effect of QCD radiation on kinematic structures such as SUSY mass variables and kinematic edges, subjet filtering and jet pruning, jet vetoes, event shapes as probes of new physics and the optimal choice of jet algorithm.

This meeting is a follow-up of the Manchester Workshop on  "Soft gluons and new physics", see http://agenda.hep.manchester.ac.uk/conferenceOtherViews.py?view=standard&confId=1961

The meeting will be broadcast via EVO (detailed info will appear at the time of the meeting in the "Video Services" item on the left menu bar)

For those attending, information on accommodation, access to CERN and laptop registration is available from http://lpcc.web.cern.ch/LPCC/index.php?page=visit
