Scientific Programme

The purpose of the workshop series is to discuss theoretical and experimental progress in studies of the QCD phase diagram and properties of strongly interacting matter at high temperature and density. Particular emphasis is put on the physics at non-zero baryon number density that shall be probed in future low energy experiments at BNL, CERN, GSI, JINR and CSR.

The following topics will be covered in the workshop:

(1) PHASE DIAGRAM OF QCD;

(2) DECONFINEMENT AND CHIRAL SYMMETRY RESTORATION;

(3) EQUATION OF STATE AND TRANSPORT PROPERTIES;

(4) CORRELATIONS AND FLUCTUATIONS;

(5) EQUILIBRATION AND HADRONIZATION;

(6) EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS FROM SPS, RHIC AND LHC;

(7) FUTURE EXPERIMENTS.
