ARCEBS series of conferences are considered as benchmark conference amongst the peer community all over the world. The scope of the conference includes application of radiotracers and accelerated beams in all discipline of sciences. The first and second ARCEBS were organized by the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP), Kolkata, India in 2006 and 2010 and were held in the SINP campus. The third and the fourth ARCEBS were organized by SINP but were held at Ffort Raichak, Kolkata. All the earlier conferences in the ARCEBS series were highly successful by the participation of world leaders all over the globe. The fifth ARCEBS 2023 will be hosted by the Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University, Purulia, India

The presentations of stalwarts show casing latest development in various topics like nuclear medicine, superheavy elements, radioactive ion beam, radiochemical separation, etc., will be the core of the conference. ARCEBS 23 is concerned about our Earth and Environment. Therefore a dedicated mini-symposium on Earth and Environmental Science will be hosted within the scope of the conference

The Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University is situated in Purulia town, about 300 km from Kolkata. The Chota Nagpur plateau is the backdrop of the University. Purulia and the adjacent areas have  rich cultural heritage and is the confluence of diverse ethnic groups.  The University is well connected by air, road and railways. The nearest airport is Ranchi Airport from where it is about a two hours drive. 

 

Venue of the conference: The ARCEBS-23 will be inaugurated at the Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University campus at Purulia on 31st January, 2023. Delegates will stay at Purulia on that night and will be transferred to Kushal Palli, situated at the top of Ajodhya Hills (~ 500 m altitude), which is a part of Chota Nagpur plateau. The weather of Purulia in February is ambient and the time of beautiful Palash flower (Butea monosperma). The conference will continue at the Kushal Palli from 01-05 February 2023.
