Ali Marzooq
Ali Marzooq is a mechanical engineer, working at CERN since March 2022. He received his engineering degree from the University of Bahrain and worked as a mechanical engineer for two years before joining CERN. Right now, Ali is working within two teams and two projects, dividing his time by equally on each. The first team is EP-CMX safety team where he conducts risk assessment for several CO2 based cooling systems and the second team is EP-DT Cooling Team where he takes care of the transportation study of the phase-2 2PACL CO2 cooling system into its final position at the service cavern.

During the last 20 years, they have been working for Hardware Muon Barrel Alignment System and Fiber Optical Sensing System at CMS
