Attendees : Emidio Giorgio, Catherine Wang, Diana Cresti, Ivan Marton, Katarina Pajchel, Piotr Bala, Pina Salente, Mathilde Romberg. Excused : Nadine. -- Training Workshops at EMI TC Emidio asks Mathilde about the UNICORE training contribution they intend to submit for EMI-TC/EGI-UF. Mathilde answers that they already submitted a contribution about end-users trainings and they are going to do similarly for sysadmins oriented part. Piotr comments that in the past EGI-TC audience was mostly people knowing gLite only, so it is important to show appropriately UNICORE, providing a deeper insight on it. Emidio asks how much time they expect for their session, Mathilde says 90 minutes (60 for the lecture and 30 for the hands-on), Piotr comments that probably two hours is more appropriate. Piotr asks about submission procedures, if it has to be done by activity manager or it's up to them. Emidio suggests for them to apply directly. Diana asks if it is going to be a competitive submission, Emidio clarifies that it won't be so, it just the way agreed with the programme committee. Katarina says that they are going to do similarly with Arc and asks if there will be enough time for all the contribution. Emidio answers that it depends from the time that PC is going to allocate for it, and if the WS will happen in a parallel session; however timeslots will be shared fairly among the different middleware. Mathilde asks in which days the training WS will be allocated, as she had the feeling that last two days will be kind of EMI internal and therefore it won't be appropriate to have training WS in that days. Diana points out that last two days there shouldn't be also availability of the main hall, so in any case it needs to be advertised properly. Emidio says that agreed with other people in EGI training to have the WSs on the first days, and proposes to ask to EMI people involved in talks about middleware to advertise it during their talk. Diana proposes to advertise even on the web site. Pina asks if there have been any PC meetings, Emidio says not, Pina suggests to send a message on the ML proposing it not later than mid of January. -- DNA2.4.1 Ivan communicates that he received Piotr comments, and a new version is being released. Diana communicates that he received some interesting comments from ECB members, and she will produce them, if not already addressed, in the next version of DNA2.4.1. Diana asks also if the comments she already circulated had been taken in account. Ivan doesn't know it, it's agreed to ask Peter via email. Piotr comments that the whole process needs to be accelerated, and in his opinion two fondamental questions are not fully addressed : 'Where we are ?' and 'What are we going to do ?'. Peter comments also that gLite contribution needs to be either increased, or explain why it cannot be detailed as others. Emidio and Diana say that will address this. -- DNA2.3.1 Emidio communicates that he is finalizing it, with conclusions and executive summary, and then will sent it to the list. Pina asks when this is expected, Emidio says by the end of the week. -- AOB Common agreement on having next phone conference January 11th. Wishes for merry Christmas and happy New Year.
