Important information regarding AAPCOS 2020
1. The AAPCOS 2020 conference will be held at the auditorium complex of Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP), Kolkata during Jan. 6 - Jan. 10, 2020.
2. The Programme and the Abstract booklet are available on the website.
3. The registration will start at around 8:30 A.M. on January 6th, 2020 at the reception of SINP auditorium complex and continue till 9:20 A.M.
4. Transport will be arranged for the participants staying at Meghnad Saha Abasan II (MSA II) SINP housing near Ruby, S.N. Bose Centre for Basic Sciences guesthouse (Bhagirathi Guest House) and for the participants staying at different hotels suggested at the AAPCOS 2020 website. Please inform us (in case you need a pick up from your hotel) the name of the hotel you have reserved.
5. The pick up timings are as follows (please note that on 6th Jan. 2020 the programme will start 8:30 hrs (registration etc.) while for the rest of the days it is 9:30 hrs)
From S.N. Bose Guest House (Bhagirathi Guest House)
06 Jan. 2020 -- 8:20 hrs
All other days -- 9:20 hrs
From MSA II
06 Jan. 2020 -- 7:40 hrs
All other days -- 8:40 hrs
The hotels (suggested at the AAPCOS 2020 website) are nearby SINP Campus. For the pick up from these hotels, if any, the schedule given for Bhagirathi Guest House will be followed.
6. We still have some rooms available (around 10) at S.N. Bose Guest House. The tariff is given at the website. If you intend to book at S.N. Bose Guest House please let us know.
7. The participants will be dropped at their respective place of stay (MSA II, S.N. Bose Guest House or the hotels) after each day's session.
8. The list of participants accommodated in S.N. Bose Guest House and at MSA II are given in the AAPCOS 2020 website. Participants are also accommodated at MSA I guest house at Salt Lake (adjacent to SINP campus). Breakfast will be available at MSA I, MSA II and S.N. Bose Guest Houses. Participants (from outside Kolkata) are requested to check their names for these three guest houses (if you are not booked elsewhere).
9. The accommodation at MSA II will be free for AAPCOS 2020 participants.
