EXHIBITION OF ANGELA MCFALL

About me:

Born in N.Ireland in 1969.

Grew up in Ottawa Canada.

Graduated from Canterbury School of the Arts in Ottawa.

Exhibitions in Ottawa Canada.

Graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art.

Joined the artists’ collective ‘The Enriched Bread Artists’ in an old factory space in Ottawa.

Moved to Tokyo, participated in art exhibitions around Japan.

Was hired to teach art in Switzerland, Head of Art Department, moved to Switzerland.

In recent years exhibiting in Switzerland and internationally.

Joined Artist’s Collective in Taulan Art Factory Montreux, currently working on several projects  exploring time, space, and place.

 

“My  oil  paintings  capture  the emotional side of existence. The human journey through landscapes, weather, and time. In my paintings, moods, auras, and fleeting impressions are projected onto architecture. Places unravel to reveal the energetic side of what appears to be concrete. Everything is moving, everything is fleeting, everything is transformation.”

A propos de moi :
Né en Irlande du Nord en 1969.
J'ai grandi à Ottawa, au Canada.
Diplômé de la Canterbury School of the Arts à Ottawa.
Expositions à Ottawa Canada.
Diplômé de l'Université d'Ottawa avec un Bachelor of Fine Arts en Studio Art.
Rejoint le collectif d'artistes "The Enriched Bread Artists" dans une ancienne usine à Ottawa.
Déménage à Tokyo, participe à des expositions d'art dans tout le Japon.
Engagé pour enseigner l'art en Suisse, chef du département d'art, déménagé en Suisse.
Ces dernières années, il a exposé en Suisse et à l'étranger.
Rejoint le collectif d'artistes de Taulan Art Factory Montreux, et travaille actuellement sur plusieurs projets explorant le temps, l'espace et le lieu.
 

“Mes peintures à l’huile capturent le côté émotionnel de l’existence. Le voyage humain à travers les paysages, la météo et le temps. Dans mes peintures, les humeurs, les auras et les impressions fugaces sont projetées sur l’architecture. Les lieux s’effilochent pour révéler le côté énergétique de ce qui semble être du béton. Tout est en mouvement, tout est fugace, tout est transformation.”
