For those who have requested accommodation, this is booked at the Hyatt Centric Hotel in Eddington, Cambridge. This can be reached directly by bus (the "Universal bus") from Cambridge station in 25 minutes. The same bus line can be used to travel to the Cavendish Laboratory/West hub on Friday morning (it takes around 5 minutes, or is a ~ 15-20 minute walk).
For those travelling by car, if staying overnight on Thursday we recommend parking at Madingley Road park and ride, which is in between the hotel and West Cambridge site. If coming for the day by car, you can park for free on Clark Maxwell road (right next to the department, however it fills up quite early) or again use the park and ride.
For those arriving by train on Friday morning, we again advise using the Universal Bus to travel to the west Cambridge site (~ 20 minutes from the station, running every 15 minutes). If wanting a taxi in Cambridge, Panther Taxis has an app, but there are also a limited number of Uber drivers.
Coffee and pastries will be available in the West Hub from 9.15am on Friday morning for those arriving early.
