- All Events - registering here you will get notifications about ALL events, there is no need to register for any of the specific event types below.
Alternatively you can also register for announcements of one or more specific event type(s) only
- Essentials Course: is the first course we offer for C++ developers. This course teaches the basics of C++. This course is useful for students who have experience in e.g. coding with ROOT macros but haven't yet had any formal training on the language (including its "more advanced" features such as templates and smart pointers) or on object-oriented design.
- Advanced Course: This is the followup course of the "essentials". We either suggest to have followed the essentials course before or to come with a decent C++ knowledge.
- Special Events: We are planning for seminar style courses of max 1 day on very specific and brand new features of C++, e.g. modules (at the time of writing)
Please note that all events above are concentrating purely on the C++ language. We may use HEP code to illustrate the concepts but do not teach specifics of HEP C++ projects such as ROOT or experiment framework software.
