Short summary of the ADTC meeting held on 20th April.

-RP control of equipment B193 <--> B393 (C. Ahdida): Claudia explained that the “Picomur” installed in 2017 to self-check activation will be removed and that equipment can now be brought from AD hall (B193 – Supervised area) to AD workshop (B393 – Non designated area) without RP control anymore only if they fall within the  “global radiological control category”. Others will have to follow the TREC rules.

-End of YETS planning / QFC54 repair status (C. Ponce): Laurette indicates QFC54 repair was completed 1 week in advance, and this time is being used to perform magnetic measurements that were missing. The planning of the end of the YETS is shown, with expected restart of physics end of June.

-AD mini WS summary (F. Butin): Francois gave a summary of the AD mini WS that took place on 16th of March, the goal of which was to review the detailed status and prospects for AD/ELENA systems, including main AD-CONS project WP’s and establish priorities in the light of the anticipated physics program of AD experiments beyond LS3, and the corresponding needs of AD/ELENA machines operation. An action list will be established and proposal for an upgrade project of the AD complex will be worked-out to be proposed to the management.

-AOB: ALPHA-g solenoid will be extracted and located somewhere to be agreed in the hall to be repaired. These operations involving intensive work for transport should be announced more in advance to better adapt manpower.

A proposal is being studied for possibly installing a very small experiment in the AD ring using a 500 MeV extracted pbars beam. Off line discussions are needed.
