Crowd4SDG conference badge (for all)
The event will take place at CERN in the Globe of Science and Innovation and at IdeaSquare, both of which are located outside the CERN gates. Therefore you do not need a CERN access badge. Instead we will provide you with a conference badge.
You will only require an access badge if you are one of the participants, speakers or consortium members staying in the CERN hotel; see below.
The conference badges will be available in the first floor of the Globe of Science and Innovation and you can collect it upon your arrival.
CERN Visitor Access badge (for those staying at the CERN hostel only)
If you attending the final conference only at the Globe and IdeaSquare, you will not require a CERN access badge; read the text above.
You will only require an access badge if you are one of the participants, speakers or consortium members staying in the CERN hotel. In this case ONLY note that:
- If you arrive between 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m., you can collect your badge at the CERN Reception. If your arrive after 6:00p.m., you can collect your badge at Gate B with the CERN guard who shall have a list of all attendees of the conference.
- Taxis and Ubers are not allowed inside the facility. If you arrive by taxi or uber they will need to leave you outside the CERN gate and you will have to walk to the CERN hostel; see map below
- On arrival you will have to show an ID document to collect the badge.
- You must wear your badge visibly at all times when inside the CERN fenced domain.
