Kati Lassila Perini 

Kati Lassila-Perini is a research scientist at the Helsinki Institute of Physics, Finland, with a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics from ETHZ, Switzerland.  She leads the Open data effort of the CMS experiment at CERN, and manages the releases of CMS research-quality data into the public domain since 2014. Her top interest is the reusability of these data.  
 

 

Panja Luukka 
 

 

Panja Luukka is a professor of physics and head of the physics department at Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology (LUT). She has a Dr.Sc. degree from Helsinki University of Technology and she has been in several management roles in CMS (Tracker Institution Board Chair, CMS Collaboration Board Secretary, Co-Chair of the Career Committee to name a few). Her current activities include R&D and quality assurance of silicon detectors for the CMS Phase-2 upgrade, detector operations at CMS Pt. 5, and teaching of semiconductor physics at LUT University.
