Entry to Korea (VISA, COVID19)

VISA Information

For the Visa requirement, please refer to the Visa-Navigator service of the South Korean government.

However, visitors without a Visa requirement still need an approval of Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) before the departure. Please consider that it can take more than 72 hours depending on the situation.

***Update: Note that K-ETA is temporarily exempted for the following countries:

Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Taiwan, Denmark, Germany, Macau, United States, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Singapore, United Kingdom, Austria, Italy, Japan, Canada, Poland, France, Finland, Australia, Hong Kong

COVID-19 Restrictions

Pre- and post-entry COVID-19 testing is not required except for travelers arriving from People's Republic of China (PRC), Hong Kong or Macau. Travelers arriving from PRC, Hong Kong or Macau must provide proof of negative PCR tests within 48 hours or antigen test within 24 hours prior to their departure.

Visitors from overseas are encouraged to register their personal information and health conditions though the Q-CODE system before their departure, to shorten their waiting time for entry. The Q-CODE system is mandatory for the visitors from PRC, Hong Kong or Macau.
