Foreign travelers coming to the United States to attend conferences need visitor visas unless they qualify for entry under the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA). Travelers must have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval prior to travel or other visa to attend conferences in the USA.
